Senior Financial Analyst -- Capital Reporting


 


The Senior Financial Analyst-Capital Reporting performs analysis and reporting of company financials, with a primary focus in support of the Consolidated Company and specifically capital and project reporting. Responsible for complex modeling, budgeting, reporting, special projects, and other financial analysis.



Duties and Responsibilities:



Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:




  • Reporting of Total Company Capital


    • Liaise with department and project leaders to develop budgets, explain variances, and create reports

    • Maintain capital worksheets and models

    • Develop capital metrics and repeatable reporting analysis


  • Preparation and analysis of financial and other capital reporting. This includes, but is not limited to:



  • Preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports and variance analysis for specific areas of focus

  • Capital budgeting, tracking, and forecasting across various aspects of the business

  • Creating, modifying and maintaining canned and Ad Hoc reports inside of TM1



  • Prepare and develop specific Consolidated financial reporting for broader distribution

  • Develop strategies to enhance reporting and the analysis of trends

  • Monitors, recommends and revises departmental processes to ensure efficiency

  • Other duties may be assigned

Education




  • B.S. or B.A. degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration with an Accounting or Finance concentration



Experience:



  • 4-7 years of proven financial analysis experience

  • Comfortable working with large amounts of data and using Excel to manipulate it

  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills

  • Ability to work cooperatively and in collaboration with all levels of employees, management, and external customers to maximize performance and results



Computer Skills:



Advanced level experience in all Microsoft products, especially Excel & PowerPoint. Experience in NetSuite and TM1 Reporting preferred.
