Senior Director, Internet and Voice Products

The Sr. Director is a strategic thought leader responsible for the identification, development and execution of product & business strategies in support of achieving profitability objectives. The Sr. Director will be responsible for delivering targeted business results through the development, launch and management of the life cycle of Internet and Voice products. The Sr. Director will inspire, lead, develop and mentor a top performing Internet and Voice Products team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:

  • End-to-End ownership of assigned product lines - Definition, product vision, strategy, business case, requirements, roadmap, product marketing, pricing and packaging.

  • Industry and competitive product analysis.

  • Provide & present product updates and forecasts to Executive team.

  • Provide strategic and hands on tactical, daily leadership around development and operations

  • Develop best practices to maximize quality

  • Establish metrics to analyze and drive continuous improvement to product performance

  • Monitor industry developments (technical, regulatory and competitive) and apply critical thinking for strategic and impact analysis

  • Develop and maintain partnership and open communication with all internal teams to achieve company goals

  • Focus on both client and employee experience and how product strategy affects each

  • Vendor management including sourcing, pricing, and negotiations

  • Proactive and regular interaction with key customers to ensure products meet the needs of the market to increase retention.

  • Maintain an understanding of customer and employee insights regarding product performance, satisfaction, and utilization to help guide future product decisions

  • Utilize business analysis to define business cases for product development investments

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience

Experience/Skills Needed:

  • 10+ years of experience in Internet, WiFi and Voice product

  • In depth industry knowledge and subject matter expertise

  • Previous management experience in a team-oriented environment required

  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to communicate and work proactively with internal customers to identify business needs, recommend solutions and provide counsel as needed to ensure the most positive outcome

  • Strong knowledge of cable and telecommunications services

  • Proven ownership, execution and delivery accountability experience

  • Demonstrated strong relationship building skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong drive to achieve results

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organization and project management skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to present work with a problem to resolution orientation

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in problem-solving, process development and project implementation

  • Strong understanding of operational procedures in support of product implementation, delivery and support

  • Salesforce experience preferred
