Job Description


Position is responsible for processing of the sales commissions. Perform internal audits of commissions to ensure compliance with signed compensation agreements. Assist Commission-Sales Manager by performing various commission related analyses. Provide audit and analytical support to the Commission Sales Manager in the day-to-day functions of the commission department.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:

  • Collect data and prepare customized commission spreadsheets for commission compensation and payroll submission

  • Monitors systems and validates data to ensure efficiency and accuracy of commission calculating components

  • Compile, audit for accuracy and distribute customized individual employee monthly commission summaries

  • Provide superior internal customer service in direct response to commission compensation inquiries

  • Support the Business Analyst, Sr. and Commission-Sales Manager -- Commercial and Residential on projects including sales commission process flow documentation, analysis, detail excel model building and reporting

  • Assist in Sales Contest creative development, cost analyses, model building, tracking, payout and return on investment

  • Maintain professional appearance and behavior at all times

  • Maintain excellent attendance

  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Five to Six years of experience and/or related associates degree or equivalent in training and experience; basic knowledge of commission compensation and experience in working with commission systems are required.

Experience/Skills Needed:

  • Must have advanced excel model building skills inclusive of formula and macros ability

  • Must be detail oriented, organized and able to work independently

  • Must be able to prioritize assignments and responsibilities

  • Must be able to handle escalations and time-critical issues

  • Must be able to handle confidential matters in a professional manner

  • Must be able to effectively communicate professionally both verbally and in written form

Computer Skills:

Knowledge of basic software protocols from a general perspective would be a plus. Intermediate to advanced Word processing skills, Power Point, Excel spreadsheets, e-mail and Internet experience required. Some knowledge of Accounting and General Ledger software preferred.
