Job Description

The Marketing Campaign Manager is responsible for the development of the company’s marketing strategy and detailed execution of WOW!’s overall brand and marketing initiatives to drive improved brand health, lead generation, revenue, and subscriber connects for the business. This role will be responsible for the creation, production, and management of outstanding offers, messaging and creative, to drive prospects from our direct marketing channels into WOW!’s various sales channels.





Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:

  • Provide support to the acquisition marketing strategy by leading all aspects of the creation, production, launch, and optimization of campaigns across multiple marketing channels (OOH, TV, Radio, Direct Mail)
  • Includes, but is not limited to selection, execution, and management of product incentives such as gift cards, programmer promotions, third-party product promotions
  • Key communicator of marketing plans and details throughout the organization
  • Identify, onboard and lead external advertising agencies and partners to execute previously defined acquisition marketing strategy
  • Define and head the agency creative and production budget needed to achieve desired critical metrics and financial goals.
  • Work with our analytics partners and the product marketing team to set the quarterly offer strategy based on vying pressures, subscriber connect goals, desired product mix, and revenue targets.
  • Partner with field sales teams to design, implement and support market growth and retention activities locally.
  • Ensures consistency in WOW! brand use both internally and externally
  • Generate brand strategies that grow market share and the brand’s reputation, improve customer experience and drive growth
  • Act as the creative liaison between the marketing team and creative agencies and other third-party partners to develop creative that aligns with strategic objectives, brand guidelines and is consistent with brand voice
  • Translate brand strategies into brand plans, brand positioning and go-to-market strategies, including the launch of new products and services
  • Improve brand’s performance, image and positioning compared to the competition
  • Manage and update brand guidelines documents and enforce accurate execution of the brand throughout the organization and with external partners

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing required





Experience/Skills Needed:

  • 5 years’ marketing experience
  • Cable/telecommunications industry experience preferred
  • 2-5 years leadership experience preferred
  • Field marketing experience preferred
  • Proven leadership skills, a strategic attitude, and a passion for innovation and agile responsiveness
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of clearly articulating a strategic vision and path for getting there
  • Outstanding oral and written creative skills; experience drafting/editing offer positioning, marketing collateral, and making strategic recommendations
  • Ability to work within a deadline-oriented, delivery-centered, fast-paced, team environment.
  • Ambitious, charismatic, collaborative self-starter
  • Demonstrated project management and organization skills; proven ability to prioritize and projects while providing excellent follow-up
  • Ability to influence and communicate effectively with a variety of internal and external audiences
  • Previous cable TV/telecom industry experience preferred
  • Experience with demand generation programs, ideally in service-business preferred
