Job Description

The Senior HR Technology & Integrations Analyst is responsible for collaborating with HRIS, HR, Payroll, Benefits and other business users to understand business and systems requirements and then develop and test HR technology solutions. This role will partner on the planning, implementation and support of the architecture for all Workday systems solutions in partnership with the HRIS team, and will be responsible for integrating Workday into the rest of the technology footprint at WOW!

Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:

  • Create an architecture and approach for sharing HR data with third party providers as well as sharing HR indicative data with other applications and systems that need employee data
  • Create integration options and approaches for all Workday integrations, and then build and maintain them
  • Create business requirements documents, system configuration documents, detailed functional specification documents, user training documents, and implementation documentation
  • Partner with all HR teams on configuration and reporting by understanding business processes and Workday capabilities, and then recommends and builds processes in the request framework to automate the processes with the Workday native architecture
  • Provide frequent and clear communications regarding the status of initiatives, keeping stakeholders informed of changes and work that is in progress
  • Responsible for day-to-day support of Workday and other HR systems (Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Recruiting, Payroll, other)
  • Manage and execute ongoing system enhancement tasks, including configuration and unit testing of changes to the Workday and other HR systems
  • Build collaborative relationships with the HR, IT and Workday community to ensure that defined work streams and Subject Matter Experts within HR are aligned with the strategic business objectives of the organization
  • Proactively recommend process improvements/solutions utilizing technology to solve business needs/problems while also enhancing the understanding and adoption of systems and capabilities with internal customers
  • Partner with HR functional owners to ensure new processes are fully/accurately developed, implemented, and adopted
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or other technology related degree

-Experience/Skills Needed:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with HRIS system configuration, with specific experience related to Reporting, Recruiting, Benefits, Payroll and other HR functional areas required. Hands on experience with Workday strongly preferred. 
  • 5+ years of technology integration expertise; Experience with converting from a point to point interface architecture and methodology to an enterprise architecture and approach is preferred
  • Experience creating, maintaining, and supporting integrations across all Workday integration paradigms -- EIB, Workday connectors, translation (XSLT), report as a service strongly preferred
  • Technology background strongly preferred with a focus on integration tools and techniques
  • A strong understanding of HRIS database design, structure, functions and processes along with a knowledge of HR processes and data
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of business process and data modeling, data structures, use case, user story development and test case development is required
  • Experience in moving code from lower sandboxes to production environment and addressing issues related to functionality, integration, etc.
  • Experience with enterprise integration tools
  • Proficiency in understanding and application of HR-related corporate processes

  • Microsoft Applications i.e. Excel, Word, Powerpoint
  • Google Application Suite - Google Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.
