The Manager, Market Development-MDU is responsible for leading a team of sales executives targeting WOW! services in MDUs (Multi-Dwelling Units). This role will be responsible for securing right of entry agreements into Multi-Family properties allowing WOW! services and products for use by the tenants.  In addition, the team will be focused on selling bulk services to Multi-Family properties.  

Duties & Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for day-to-day sales management, funnel activity, territory management and sales performance for MDU Account Executives

  • Manage team to financial metrics that deliver the maximum ROI to WOW!

  • Develop KPI’s and implement a sales management plan to deliver targeted results

  • Keep abreast of competitive market conditions and partner with leadership to develop more compelling products, services and offers.

  • Leverage in-depth product knowledge and experience to improve sales presentations and proposals across the team.  

  • Participate in strategic sales and deal reviews to improve best practices across the team and provide feedback to leadership on competitive offerings in the market.  

  • Build new revenue by selling telecommunications products and services to multi-family properties

  • Produce measurable results in financial, operational, and strategic product areas

  • Accountable for meeting and/or exceeding assigned sales objectives

  • Renew Existing ROE Agreements and sign New ROE agreements in support of strategically growing our footprint and bulk business.

  • Drive relationships with key property owners/property management companies

  • Assist in developing/reviewing ROI models for capital expenditure approvals and building business case models for new growth opportunities

  • Manage and monitor functions relative to staffing including selection, training, development, performance evaluation, termination and salary

  • Strategically coordinate and communicate MDU activities with designated leadership and stakeholders to maximize MDU investments and revenues

  • Provide updates on all sales activities of the team members in assigned territories

  • All other duties as assigned

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience


  • 5+ years related work experience including significant experience in Multi-Dwelling Sales

  • 3+ years’ experience managing a team of quota-bearing sales executives preferably in the telecommunications industry

  • Demonstrated ability to motivate, train and manage a sales team to deliver on multiple KPIs and quota

  • Technical experience required in network design, property survey, and production/solution presentation to customer staff and management

  • Proven track record of successful professional sales experience

  • Experience with contracts and contract negotiations

  • Experience with securing Right of Entry/ Consent Agreements

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills

  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills

  • Ability to manage multiple ROE/Consent negotiations concurrently

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Computer Skills: 

  • Experience using G Suite, salesforce. 

  • Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software, Internet software and email

  • Ability to learn new software systems and access online support/tools.
