Job Description

The incumbent will be responsible for transactional pricing analysis along with administrative and analytics on business data and metrics.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:

  • Perform daily analysis and approvals associated with pricing discount and customer sales incentive requests
  • Develop and report on key financial & operational performance metrics including performing ad hoc analysis/support as needed
  • Secure input from sales managers, account executives, and organizational support team to develop enhancements in pricing and CRM processes
  • Provide support to sales teams and the Manager of Pricing and Offer Management with RFP and e-Rate responses.
  • Monitor systems and validate data to ensure efficiency and accuracy of reporting and workflows within guidelines
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

-Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 to 4 years’ experience including pricing, analysis, or data reporting role or a combination of education and experience   
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry and/or another industry with recurring service model a plus.

-Experience/Skills Needed:

  • Understanding of pricing analytics
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Requires latitude for independent judgment and initiative
  • Must be able to professionally work with cross functional teams who may at times have differing objectives.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across functions and levels of an organization to drive teams towards success-based results
  • Must be able to successfully support a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in written form
  • Must be detail oriented, organized, and able to work independently
  • Candidate must possess excellent communications skills and sound decision-making skills

-Computer Skills:

  • Knowledge of basic software protocols from a general perspective would be a plus
  • Intermediate to advanced Word processing skills, Power Point, Excel spreadsheets, email and Internet experience required 
  • Some knowledge of Accounting and General Ledger software preferred
