Job Description


Direct Mail Manager



Responsible for development and execution of the direct mail program including acquisition (residential and business) and existing customer direct mail.



Duties & Responsibilities:



Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:




  • Manage the design and production of all direct mail communications:





    • Data/List segmentation strategy

    • Message development and testing

    • Campaign results analysis

    • Creative/design development

    • Vendor management


  • Effectively manage internal and external resources including full-service analytics agency of record

  • Ensure efficient and effective operations by streamlining work processes, utilizing technology as appropriate and implementing best practices
    Serve as WOW!s direct marketing subject matter expert by keeping abreast of industry best practice

  • Analyze customer data and figures to measure weekly/monthly/quarterly performance of direct mail program; evaluate if performance benchmarks have been met or not and determine why any benchmarks have not been met

  • Recommend and implement new testing of targets, formats, and frequency opportunities for optimal return on the direct mail program

  • Develop and maintain integrated direct response KPI dashboard

  • Maintain up-to-date records and produce timely progress reports for management

  • Help coordinate the implementation of integrated marketing campaigns among direct mail, social, digital, broadcast when applicable.

Education:




  • College degree in Marketing or equivalent experience



Experience/Skills Needed:



  • At least 5+ years direct response experience and experience managing supplier partners; agency experience is a plus

  • 3+ years of Direct Mail management experience

  • Understanding of and commitment to WOW!s mission

  • Excellent project management and vendor management skills

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a team

  • Strong analytical skills and able to review and interpret data, budgets, etc.

  • Experience with customer relationship management software (CRM) is a plus

  • Punctuality and timeliness in meeting deadlines and fulfilling delegated responsibilities

  • Independent and effective decision making skills


Computer Skills:



  • Strong computer skills and ability to use existing technology to achieve desired results
