Job Description

The Vice President position exists to support our strategic sourcing needs as well as manage our real estate portfolio. The objective of the role is to develop and implement best-in-class sourcing strategies and purchasing processes that enable profitable growth while driving efficiency, reducing spend, improving stakeholder buy-in and enabling overall value creation. Working with the business partners, this executive will define global, regional and local category sourcing strategies and then determine how best to implement and track performance against those strategies (metrics). In addition, the Vice President will manage stakeholder relationships and achieve buy-in for the sourcing strategies and business case for change.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:

  • Direct and implement global supply chain strategies that directly link to accomplishment of both top and bottom line corporate objectives, including working capital optimization

  • Build infrastructure to support operational scale of all sourcing activities in an efficient and compliant manner. Identify, plan and execute appropriate (system) systems solutions that meet long term growth requirements

  • Direct and organize negotiation of business terms and conditions, and management of all company's supplier contracts in close cooperation with the other departments

  • Enhance sourcing processes, including development and implementation of process improvement methodologies and vendor KPIs consistent with all regulatory requirements.

  • Manage reporting and cost analysis activities related to purchasing, sourcing, contract management, and vendor management

  • Define KPIs and equip internal teams to monitor and benchmark success to meet and exceed SLAs and internal targets

  • Manage all property and capital assets ensuring that each property is properly maintained with a focus on providing financially self-sustainable solutions

  • Establishes and builds strong internal relationships, staff leadership teams, develop supply chain management regional leadership and cultivate key stakeholders to clearly understand material, demand and service requirements

  • Develops thorough master services contracts in accordance with regulatory and legal department's requirements

  • Build core internal cross-functional capabilities (operations, billing, IT, marketing, analytics, and more) required to deliver on client or partner commitments throughout entire lifecycle (from implementation through to ongoing management and expansion)

  • Understand the depth and breadth of all WOW! third party supplier spend. Annually develop plans to address categories on a proactive basis to enable competitively-advantaged supplier relationships

  • Represents the organization in real estate matters including acquisitions, leasing, subleasing, property management, tax issues, development, workspace solutions and disposition. Implements business strategy and interfaces between brokers, buyers, sellers and vendors while supporting the acquisition, strategic planning and build-out of office space

  • Maximizes the performance and value of real estate assets by developing and implementing aggressive negotiation strategies for asset purchases or leasing requirements

  • Interacts with Leaders to capitalize on existing real estate assets including relocations, expansions, renovations, closures and other decisions that require capital investment

  • Manages the existing real estate portfolio including lease renewals and the optimization of occupancy costs

  • Analyzes new site financials by preparing real estate pro formas for business review.

  • Four year degree in business or other relevant field of study required; MBA strongly preferred.

-Experience/Skills Needed:

  • Must possess a strong foundation of 7-10 years of experience procurement, real estate, with proven success in a position of senior leadership.

  • Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Internet software, email
