Job Description


Supervise, train and inspire Residential Field Sales Representatives and 3rd party contractor teams to achieve quota while ensuring the company’s quality and customer service standards are maintained.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:

  • Responsibilities for managing and growing MDU penetration across the enterprise through internal Field Sales team members and through 3rd party contractor teams
  • Represent and work cross functionally with the MDU leadership team to execute the company MDU penetration objectives
  • Lead and coordinate EdgeOut sales activities with the cross functional collaboration with marketing, MDU, construction, and operations teams
  • Meet and exceed EdgeOut Field Sales targets as assigned through the sales and marketing EdgeOut cross-functional team
  • Meet or exceed company established turf management, prospect, closing standards, product sell-in mix and sales quota standards 
  • Ensure quality of sales with a keen focus on retention and churn management
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly productivity and performance status reports
  • Perform daily one-on-one field training, participating, observing, and monitoring residential sales team to meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly targets
  • Summarize and report current customer sales trends, field conditions, and resource issues
  • Issue company-approved nodes and review production and disposition
  • Review daily installs, reschedules, and cancels of sales team to monitor quality assurance processes and quality compliance
  • Maintain company policies and standards concerning the sales order process
  • Train and monitor sales team on proper sales presentation with new products, pricing and packaging changes, discounts, marketing and other program changes as required
  • Maintain accurate time off records in accordance with company procedures
  • Assist in the interview/hiring process, coaching, counseling and ongoing performance review process for residential sales, administering discipline consistent with company standards and procedures
  • Facilitate resolution of customer escalations from sales team
  • Other duties as assigned

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • BA/BS (preferably in Sales, Marketing or Business) or equivalent in training and experience combined preferred

-Experience/Skills Needed:

  • 3-5 years’ experience selling product to consumers through a Field Sales channel required
  • 3-5 years’ experience in the Cable, Broadband and Telecom preferred
  • 3 years’ supervisory experience in a Field Sales organization preferred
  • Experience working with 3rd party contractors preferred
  • Knowledge about Multi Dwelling Units (MDU) and the sales journey to successfully lead sales teams working in MDUs preferred
  • Maintain professional appearance and appropriate behavior; promote positive attitude and good employee morale at all times
  • Developing and delivering field sales training experience preferred
  • Demonstrated experience coaching and providing feedback to improve sales performance
  • Door-to-door selling of our full line of our services to serviceable residential homes and communities

-Computer Skills:

  • Proficiency in G Suite and Microsoft Office products
  • Proficiency using Sales software, such as turf management tools like Salesforce and SalesRabbit.
  • Proficiency using Apple iPhone products
  • Knowledge and proficiency in billing systems such as ICOMS
