Senior Revenue Assurance Analyst

The Senior Revenue Assurance Analyst will interface with departments across the organization to evaluate the options and impacts of addressing identified revenue assurance opportunities. The Senior Revenue Assurance Analyst will focus on analyzing reported revenue leakage to find solutions that lead to corrections and ongoing process improvements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:

  • Manage all aspects of revenue assurance:

    • error identification and quantification -- extract data from multiple sources and conduct analysis to identify and correct areas of revenue leakage for bill accuracy

    • opportunity impacts and prioritizations

    • cross-team error remediation and ongoing leakage validation

  • Build and maintain collaborative working relationships with team members across business, technology and corporate departments to identify, understand, develop and evaluate remediation and process improvement plans

  • Ensures billing compliance including the establishment of processes, documentation and controls to minimize loss and maximize cost containment

  • Identify the financial impacts of remediation for prioritization analysis

  • Investigate root causes of revenue issues and communicate with the appropriate teams to ensure timely resolution

  • Collaborate with management to create and implement remediation plans

  • Assist management in identifying and implementing continuous improvement processes, procedures and tools for the Revenue Assurance department

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in accounting, finance, economics, statistics or similar field


  • 4 years minimum relevant experience including data analysis, reporting and root cause analysis

  • 5 or more years' experience preferred

  • Project management or leading large project experience preferred

  • Experience designing and/or evaluating internal controls

  • Strong analytical and research skills

  • Ability and desire to execute detailed analysis with large data sets

  • Excellent collaborative and influencing traits

  • Strong organization, process documentation and project management skills

  • Extraordinary attention to detail

  • Strong communication skills: listening, verbal, and written

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently

Computer Skills:

  • Experience with complex data analytics tools and coding experience desired (SQL, Tableau)

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and database skills

  • Strong Microsoft Office products skills
