Job Description

The Senior Manager of Campaign Planning is responsible for the strategic development and implementation of the company’s overall residential go-to-market plan to support company growth goals with specific focus on Offer Strategy, Creative Development, Media Strategy and Lead Generation. The Sr. Manager will hold responsibility for maintaining a multi-million dollar budget for the management of advertising agencies and third party media partners. 

What you'll do:

  • Participates in strategic and annual planning processes for the department, including direct responsibility for development of quarterly offer and campaign strategies
  • Establishes the overall, integrated advertising strategy for WOW! with the goal to drive lead generation to the website and call centers, while increasing brand awareness, connects, and revenue
  • Manages partnership opportunities that support the company’s overall campaign strategy (programmers, devices, streaming partners etc.)  
  • Conducts agency reviews, develops agency contracts, and serves as primary Point of Contact with all advertising agency partners
  • Creates, reviews and approves all major campaign creative briefs, evaluates creative at key phases and socializes campaign strategies and creative with all necessary stakeholders
  • Manages development of all advertising tactics, including TV (both broadcast and cross-channel), streaming assets, radio, digital, and out-of-home (OOH)
  • Manages advertising agencies performance expectations and holds agencies accountable to milestones, deliverables, costs and quality of work
  • Partners with Field Marketing in planning, development and execution of integrated, local  marketing plans to drive targeted residential connects
  • Works closely with WOW!’s media partner(s) to ensure the overall go-to-market media plan and creative plans are aligned
  • Articulates a clear vision and objective of integrated advertising campaigns for the department and provides on-going strategic direction, ensuring accuracy of content, brand and tonality
  • Oversees and directs all use of the WOW! brand, including visual identity and tonality including logo use, animation, color, typography, and imagery
  • Partners directly and cross-functionally with ecommerce, marketing, and other business groups to gain alignment while leveraging creative strategy to obtain organizational buy-in
  • Develops and maintains departmental budgets as directed and within company policy
  • Manages direct reports in delivering defined objectives and further developing team members’ skills/competencies
  • All other duties as assigned

What we're looking for:

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from four-year College or university; and 5 – 7 years directly related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience/Skills Needed:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and seven (7) years marketing experience
  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to develop, lead and implement highly complex marketing initiatives across multiple organizations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, highly collaborative environment where flexibility and teamwork are essential
  • High degree of subject matter expertise in marketing communication management including project scope definition, risk identification, management methodology, resource allocation, financial analysis, test and turn-up and systems deployment
  • Proven skills with ability to successfully manage multiple priorities, driving projects to on time and on budget completion
  • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent organization and people management skills
  • Ability to succinctly present to all levels of an organization with excellent written and oral communications
    • Cable/telecommunications industry experience is a plus
    • Multicultural marketing experience a plus

The minimum base pay salary for this position is $84,000. Salary may be negotiable based on experience. The minimum salary does not include any other pay elements in which this position may be eligible.
