Summary:


The Senior Financial Analyst position will perform a wide spectrum of financial and analytical work in cross-functional support to our Marketing, Retention and Project Management teams. Responsible for complex modeling, forecasting, special projects, ad hoc reporting, and other analysis as needed.


Duties and Responsibilities:


Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:



  • Provide budget, forecast, analytics and other financial support to Marketing teams

  • Preparation and analysis of financial and other operational reporting. This includes but is not limited to:

    • preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports and variance analysis

    • P&L budgeting, tracking, and forecasting across various aspects of the business



  • Advocate and financial sounding board for new pricing endeavors:

    • evaluate price changes, new product profitability and margin impacts

    • analyze profit margins across product portfolio and evaluation of all promotional offerings



  • Execute value added analysis and decision support for key business projects and initiatives

    • develop and evaluate ROI/NPV models for cost savings and revenue scenarios



  • Strive to streamline and improve efficiency of all the above tasks and procedures

  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

Education:



  • B.S. or B.A. degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration with an Accounting or Finance concentration

  • 4-7 years of proven financial analysis experience


Experience/Skill Needed:



  • Comfortable working with large amounts of data and using Excel to manipulate it

  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills

  • Ability to work cooperatively and in collaboration with all levels of employees, management, and external customers to maximize performance and results


Computer Skills:



  • Advanced level experience in all Microsoft products, especially Excel & PowerPoint

  • Experience in Great Plains, NetSuite and TM1 Reporting preferred

  • A basic understanding of SQL and relational databases preferred

  • Experience with a OLAP/Business Intelligence tool also a plus
