Job Description

The Senior Financial Analyst performs work directly related to the analysis and forecasting of company financials, with a primary focus in support of the CIO & CTO Organizations

Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:

  • Provide financial planning support to CIO & CTO leadership
  • Preparation and analysis of financial and other operational reporting.  This includes, but is not limited to:
  • Preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports and variance analysis
  • P&L budgeting, tracking, and forecasting across various aspects of the business
  • Prepare and develop financial reporting for broader distribution
  • Ad Hoc financial analysis and business case analysis
  • Conduct financial research, data analysis, and interpretation in order to act as a business partner and ensure sound financial decision making
  • Streamline and improve efficiency of tasks and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

-Education:

  • B.S. or B.A. degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration with an Accounting or Finance concentration

-Experience/Skills Needed:

  • 4-7 years’ experience of proven financial analysis
  • Proficient in working with and manipulating large amounts of data and using Excel
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills
  • Ability to work cooperatively and in collaboration with all levels of employees, management, and external customers to maximize performance and results

-Computer Skills:

  • Advanced level experience in all Microsoft products, especially Excel (including VLookups, Pivot tables, Sum-ifs) & PowerPoint. 
  • Experience in NetSuite and TM1 Reporting Preferred
  • G Suite Experience preferred
