Job Description

Senior Director, Digital Marketing





The Senior Director, Digital Marketing will be instrumental in designing the strategic direction and overseeing the flawless execution of WOW!'s overall digital marketing initiatives to drive lead generation and subscriber connects for the business. In this role, the Senior Director will establish and cultivate collaborative relationships with digital agencies and internal partners to accelerate digital sales, drive strategic joint business planning and help elevate the WOW! Brand across our serviceable footprint. In addition, the position will have responsibility for the creation and oversight of promotional website landing pages, directing online offer strategy and implementation and partnering with the Digital Innovation team to ensure a strong ecommerce experience.





Duties and Responsibilities:





Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:






  • Drive the digital marketing strategy by overseeing the design, launch and optimization of campaigns across multiple online channels (display, paid social, email, mobile, etc.)

  • Identify, onboard and direct external digital marketing agencies and partners as necessary to execute previously defined digital marketing strategy

  • Own the audience development growth strategy and work with Brand Marketing, Product, Sales and Analytics to set clear and measurable annual and quarterly goals

  • Direct members of the digital marketing team to execute, measure and optimize our paid marketing efforts using vendor-specific dashboards, Google Analytics, and marketing analytics reports

  • Define and manage the digital marketing budget needed to achieve desired KPI and financial goals

  • Strategic oversight of digital lead generation, management and optimization.

  • Work with our analytics partners to develop robust attribution models and dashboards that clearly demonstrate the correlation between spending, acquisition, and retention

  • Work with the brand team and agency partners to develop content strategies to attract and engage our target audiences

  • Proactively identify industry trends and insights that will help refine our marketing approach

  • In partnership with the Brand Marketing and Customer Engagement teams help define the social strategy roadmap and the ongoing refinement and editorial approach.

Education:






  • Four year degree in marketing, communications or related field

  • Google Analytics -- certification preferred.





Experience/Skills Needed:






  • Minimum 7-10 years' experience in digital and/or omni-channel marketing with demonstrated subject-matter expertise.

  • 7-10 years previous marketing leadership experience

  • Must have proven experience and success in driving subscriber growth via digital

  • Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly articulating a strategic vision and path for getting there.

  • Superior strategic and analytical skills; experience evaluating volumes of data and making strategic recommendations.

  • Ability to work within a deadline-oriented, delivery-centered, fast-paced, team environment.




  • Familiarity with emerging tactics and channels to broaden the reach of campaigns (Instagram, snapchat, retargeting to visitors of competitors sites, etc).

  • Experience creating marketing strategies that utilize UTM tracking and customer behavior data

  • Previous cable TV/telecom industry experience desired.

  • Proven track record of developing, leading and coaching high-performing teams.

  • A strategic mindset, and a passion for innovation and agile responsiveness.




  • Energetic, charismatic, collaborative self-starter.

  • Demonstrated project management and organization skills; proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects while providing excellent follow-up.





Computer Skills:






  • Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Internet software, email.

  • Graphic design software experience is a plus but not required.

  • Knowledge of website development process, coding, and design in a CMS environment is a plus but not required.
