Salesforce Developer III

The Sales Force Developer III is a lead developer of the Enterprise Applications team responsible for improving the capability and functionality of the Salesforce software. What you'll be doing:


  • You will collaborates with Solution Architects and Developers to provide technical design guidance that will align with the strategy and applicable technical standards.

  • Utilizes working knowledge of current Salesforce development languages, IDEs and methodologies in support of the credit union mission.

  • Conduct and participate in regular code reviews of development team to assure quality code is being built with detection and correction of issues and security gaps.

  • Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship.

  • Maintain best practices of software quality with the team by establishing good practices and habits. Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team.

  • Design and write complex code to create production level applications and solutions for the Salesforce platform using standard Salesforce IDEs, Visualforce and Apex languages.

  • Analyze and resolve technical and application problems.

  • Work with the business partners to assess, design and implement process improvement initiatives.

  • Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget.

  • Provide third-level support to business users.



What we're looking for:


Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or another technical field or equivalent work experience



Experience/Skills Needed:


  • Salesforce Admin Certification and Salesforce Dev Certification preferred

  • Minimum of 6 years' experience and at least 1 year of experience as a technical lead.

  • 4+ years of Salesforce development experience developing end to end Salesforce solutions using Configuration and Customization - APEX Class, Triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning components required.

  • Practical experience with APIs, consuming and invoking web services utilizing WCF, REST, SOAP, XML, JSON required.

  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery, writing test class code coverage, and executing unit testing.

  • Experience developing UI pages using Lightning framework preferred.

  • Experience writing and debugging triggers, batch apex, queueable and future methods.

  • Experience working with Salesforce custom and standard objects.

  • Experience managing reporting, metrics and dashboards.

  • Experience automating business processes using Salesforce automation tools such as Process Builder, Workflows, Formulas, Flow, Assignment Rules and email alerts.

  • Experience working in a SAFe/Agile environment and directing a team of developers in this environment.

  • Sufficient expertise in the above technologies to mentor and lead a development team working with these technologies.



Computer Skills:


  • Strong Microsoft Office skills

  • Google Application Suite i.e. Drive
