Job Description

The Manager of Product Operations is responsible for leading the coordination and implementation of product-related initiatives including new product implementation, changes to existing products, pricing and policy adjustments and related business practice changes requiring cross functional support and execution.



Duties and Responsibilities:



Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:




  • Manage coordination and implementation of cross functional initiatives impacting products, including operational and regulatory policy changes, product enhancements, new product deployments and pricing and packaging adjustments

  • Partner with business owners to clarify strategic initiative objectives, identify operational and customer impacts, and create effective implementation and support solutions to achieve business goals while maintaining expected employee and customer experience

  • Manage development, documentation and internal communication of operational plans, collaborating as appropriate with assigned project managers and other functional team leaders to ensure consistent, timely and accurate communication to impacted organizations

  • Coordinate cross functional teams in developing and implementing shared and unique business policies and processes to support initiatives, including documentation and communications as needed

  • Support policy development, documentation and communication in support of regulatory or company practices, pricing and packaging adjustments, new product deployment and/or product maintenance

  • Facilitate operational solutioning at a detailed level with cross functional teams

  • Think analytically and strategically to solve complex operational problems, relying on strong interpersonal relationships and superior organizational skills to achieve on-time delivery of initiatives

  • Provide assistance with tracking and prioritization of initiatives as needed

  • Plan, coordinate and execute required customer notifications for assigned product, pricing and policy changes, as well as required annual notices, including proofing, list requests and print vendor management for various communications

  • For relevant product, pricing and policy change initiatives, manage updates to ancillary customer-facing material as needed, such as WOW! website, terms and conditions, FAQs, and customer leave behind materials

  • Other duties as assigned

-Education:




  • Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience



-Experience/Skills Needed:




  • 3-5 years' experience with telecom or cable business services operations

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and direct complex business operations plans

  • Experience developing and executing customer communications

  • Experience with telecom or cable billing systems

  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to communicate and work proactively with internal customers to identify business needs, recommend solutions and provide counsel as needed to ensure the most positive outcome

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Excellent organization and project management skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in problem-solving, process development and project implementation



-Computer Skills:



Word processing, PowerPoint, Excel, Internet software, Email, Database software. Graphic design software experience is a plus but not required.
