Job Description

The Network Implementation Engineer II is responsible for Network documentation and Network
deployment of the Engineering design solutions for the WOW! Network Infrastructure. The Network
Implementation Engineer II is the primary resource supporting change activity as it relates to the WOW
Network and the Infrastructure that supports the services delivered over it.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:
● Opens, performs and closes out change request tickets for the Implementation team.
● Install, configure and test Engineering solutions in Integration Lab.
● Develop standard implementation Method of Procedure (MOP).
● Provides integration support of infrastructure required to deliver services.
● Maintain build book of infrastructure and services being delivered across the WOW! Network.
● Execute scheduled maintenance activities for Network Implementation.
● Update site-specific documentation.
● Leads and provides guidance to technical staff and Network Implementation Engineer I
● Responsible for training assigned work groups and leading work teams within the work group.
● Delivers presentations to general audiences and writes convincing proposals and reports with all
necessary backup material for consumption.
● Prepare work package Documentation.
● Create system support documentation including instructional procedures, provisioning guidelines,
test plans, problem documentation and functional process flows.
● Other duties as assigned.

● BS required or equivalent work experience
Experience/Skills Needed:
● 4-8 years of related work experience required
● Telecommunications industry experience preferred
● Knowledgeable with a number of platforms and/or systems.
● Ability to be the subject Matter Expert in at least one area or system.
● Ability to exercise considerable latitude and technical judgment in deciding work methods.
● Ability to read engineering drawings and understand process flow.
● Proficient with industry standard test equipment.
● Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
● Ability to create as-built documentation
● Ability to understand and apply mid-level concepts and techniques of the technology.
Computer Skills:
● Microsoft Applications (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word)
● Google Application Suite (i.e. Doc, Drive, Sheets)
● Terminal Applications (i.e. SecureCRT, Putty, etc…)
● Collaboration Applications (i.e. Lucid Chart, Slack, Zoom, etc…)
● Service NOW Ticket Systems
