Job Description


The MDU Account Executive implements sales strategies aimed at providing service to residential multiple dwelling unit (MDU) properties maximizing product and service penetration and generating new revenue. The MDU Account Executive is also responsible for negotiating contract renewals to ensure continued revenue.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:

  • Responsible for selling products and services to multi-dwelling properties/communities

  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales and business objectives by acquiring new business and selling upgrades to existing MDU accounts

  • Maintains and updates sales database with current status for each lead and opportunity

  • Prospect building owners, property managers, and developers; understand their businesses and work towards building meaningful partnerships

  • Generate new leads with targeted multi-dwelling units through various prospecting activities including cold calling, customer referrals, and partner relationships

  • Conduct presentations to managers and developers, and attends meetings and social functions to maintain a high level of visibility for the company

  • Manages defined territory to include development of local business partnerships and organizational affiliations and local enhancement of the company’s positioning and brand

  • Communicate progress and results with sales leadership through Salesforce by maintaining records by inputting data which required/necessary to report sales activities

  • Negotiate and manage contracts including renewals and new contracts. Reviews all associated documentation for accuracy. Reviews assigned territory to ensure all customers are contacted on a scheduled basis.

  • Follow up on all leads, inquires, complaints and other messages in a timely manner

  • As other duties are assigned

  • BA or BBA degree with a concentration in Management, Finance, or Real Estate, or equivalent demonstrated work experience required


  •  Five years of experience in sales and/or marketing

  • Strong written and oral communications skills are essential, including the ability to make credible presentations of financial offers and the ability to interact effectively with various levels of individuals from executives to leasing agents to end users

  • Must be able to consistently represent the Company in a positive and professional manner

  • Must possess a high level of initiative along with the ability to follow through on completion of duties and responsibilities with minimal supervision

  • Must be detailed oriented

  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation

  • Must be a self-starter able to work in a team environment

  • Ability to work occasional weekend events is required

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and math skills are essential

Technical Skills:

  • PC skills to include experience with Chrome, G Suite sheets, slides, and docs and knowledge of MS Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

  • experience; CRM and billing systems experience a plus
