Leadership Learning Content Development and Facilitation Manager


Working in conjunction with the Senior Director of Learning & Training, the Leadership Learning Content Development and Facilitation Manager, will be responsible for designing, developing and delivering an engaging, interactive and empowering leadership learning and development experience for internal customers. The Manager will provide thought leadership, consulting/training services, workforce analytics and tactical plans to identify leadership development needs and design/deliver programs that close current leadership gaps as well as build future leadership capability.



Duties and Responsibilities:


Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:


* Delivers, develops and/or refines training content for Team and Leadership Development
* Develops material for presentation in multiple formats -- leader-led classroom, self-study, on-line/WWW delivery, and other means as required to meet the business need
* Collaborates with internal HR business leaders and organization effectiveness practitioners to assess performance gaps and respond to organizational development issues through creative and innovative experiential programs to accelerate leadership and management capabilities
* Partners with and acts as a consultant to key leaders to increase organization effectiveness by identifying strategies to better align people, processes and perspectives across the organization. Includes developing training interventions, change management strategies and leading cultural integration efforts.
* Leads the delivery and facilitation of leadership programs to include: workshops, coaching, presentations, simulations delivered via all types of modalities, including face-to-face and virtual classroom.
* Evaluates and measures post-training performance to refine and improve training content and format. Monitors and tracks delivered training, certification and testing.
* Partners with external vendors as needed to enhance overall program design and experiential learning programs to increase leadership effectiveness.
* Partners on development of Rewards & Recognition processes.
* Consults on and supports new hire onboarding content and process.
* Consults on, designs, and manages leadership Talent Review and Succession Planning.
* Creates and oversees delivery of new leader and new manager first year experience to ensure they are effectively delivering intended results.
* Supports and promotes a feedback culture including, but not limited to: Satisfaction and pulse surveys, teammate engagement, cross-functional collaboration, and 360 degree feedback
* Administers the performance management system, increasing functionality and contribution to performance management interventions.
* Acts as project manager for all-employee surveys.
* Designs methods to measure program effectiveness, participant learning, and organizational impact.
* Acts as a role model and functions as a subject matter expert on all WOW! leadership competencies and their integrated usage through learning and development
* Designs and develops multi-model curriculum to develop high-potential internal talent for critical roles across all levels of leadership. Stays up-to-date on best practices and current day leadership learning to be a thought leader in building leadership pipeline.
* Identifies needs and implements improvements to the online learning experience.

Education/Experience:


* Four-year college degree in training, business or organizational development; or equivalent work experience (advanced degree preferred)
* Proven success as an Education Leader and Practitioner for a minimum of 3 years with an understanding of instructional pedagogy
* Experience in or familiarity with leadership coaching, organizational learning, adult development, and systems thinking
* Strong curriculum design and facilitation skills including providing opportunities for experiential learning experiences that challenge participants
* Proven ability and strong understanding of the digital learning landscape, LMS or LCMS, common content formats and approaches (including SCORM, video, gamification, assessment tools, etc) and learning on demand experiences
* Working knowledge of design software and understanding of instructional design methods for course development and administration
* Three (3) years or more experience in a training facilitator role, both face-to-face and virtual; responsible for improving management skills in a formal offering for all level leaders
* Three (3) years or more internal consulting and curriculum design experience
* Experience with group dynamics and managing classroom interactions
* Strong communicator with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. Able to simplify complex topics so the uninformed end user can understand.
* Organized with strong attention to details
* Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment where flexibility and teamwork are essential.
* Deep expertise in developing leaders at all levels of the organization.
* Expertise with adult learning theory and fitting delivery method to content.
* Proven ability to influence, educate, and gain support of senior leaders for leadership development, the role leaders play in developing other leaders, and the activities needed to support effective leadership development.
* Excellent project management skills including planning, logistics, program management, scheduling, and budget adherence.
* Ability to manage multiple complex assignments, with proven ability to assess competing priorities in a high energy, fast paced environment.
* Strong business acumen, client-service, and results orientation.
* Current knowledge and ability to remain up to date on all technology and platform developments and e-learning trends



Computer Skills:

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Adobe e-Learning or other design/authoring tools, in depth understanding of accessing and utilizing web based platforms such as LMS, Content Management System, SharePoint and others
