Director, Internet Products



The Director, Internet Products is a strategic thought leader responsible for planning, development and lifecycle management of the high-speed data product portfolio. The Director, Internet Products will be responsible for defining the product strategy, developing a long-term product roadmap and driving delivery of the roadmap in support of achieving profitability objectives.


Duties and Responsibilities:



Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:




  • Define, develop and drive overall product vision, strategy, roadmap, competitive intelligence, forecasting and product requirements for high-speed data products in support of company objectives

  • Define and manage product requirements for new feature functionality and product enhancements

  • Develop and maintain best practices to maximize quality

  • Establish metrics to analyze and drive continuous improvement to product performance

  • Monitor industry developments (technical, regulatory and competitive) and apply critical thinking for strategic and impact analysis

  • Develop and maintain partnerships and open communication with all internal teams to identify strategies for increasing market share, product positioning and revenue growth

  • Focus on both client and employee experience and how product strategy affects each

  • Manage vendor partnerships to track and manage ongoing product enhancements, customer experience and product growth

  • Provides proactive and regular interaction with key customers to ensure products meet the needs of the market

  • Maintain an understanding of customer and employee insights regarding product performance, satisfaction, and utilization to help guide future product decisions

  • Utilize business analysis to define business cases for product development investments

  • Other duties as assigned

Education:




  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience



Experience/Skills Needed:




  • 7+ years of experience in HSD and telecommunications

  • 5-7 years management or leadership experience preferred

  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to communicate and work proactively with internal customers to identify business needs, recommend solutions and provide counsel as needed to ensure the most positive outcome

  • Strong knowledge of cable and telecommunications services

  • Proven ownership, execution and delivery accountability experience

  • Demonstrated strong relationship building skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong drive to achieve results

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organization and project management skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to present work with a problem to resolution orientation

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in problem-solving, process development and project implementation

  • Strong understanding of operational procedures in support of product implementation, delivery and support

  • Salesforce experience preferred

Word processing, spreadsheets, Internet software, email, database software, PowerPoint
