Instructional Designer

The Instructional Designer is to connect learners to work excellence by building a reliable, easy and pleasantly surprising learning experience every time. What you will be doing:

  • Highly Experienced Planning and Analysis

  • Conducts needs assessments, research and evaluations on learners and context to impact improvement

  • Design curriculum with creative learning activities and content that improves retention and transfer

  • Select and use a variety of techniques for determining instructional content that improve WOW

  • Identify and describe target audience characteristics that contribute to effective learning

  • Analyze the characteristics of the environment to make learning engaging

  • Analyze existing and emerging technologies and their use in an instructional environment to increase learner understanding and increase customer focused excellence

  • Reflect and interview SMEs on the elements of a situation before finalizing design solutions and strategies to shorten training time and increase ROI

  • Excellent knowledge of design and develop in interactive adult learning in all modalities of instructional design with a focus on e-learning, mobile devices, mobile learning, and learning on demand

  • Select, modify, or build a design and development model appropriate for a given project

  • Define and sequence the instructional content and strategies that improve workforce competencies

  • Select or modify existing instructional materials to leverage cost and creativity

  • Develop instructional material, support materials/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, gamification, etc.

  • Design instruction that reflects an understanding of the diversity of learners and groups of learners.

  • Evaluate and assess instruction and its impact.

  • Strategize, own, run and implement instructional design projects

  • Promote collaboration, partnerships and relationships among the participants in projects.

  • Apply business skills to handling instructional design.

  • Design instructional management systems and processes.

  • Provide for the effective implementation of instructional products and programs in an effective and innovative way

  • Assist team in evaluating the level of technology needed and provide appropriate input as needed for WOW success in the future

  • Develop innovative solutions to problems through training and an advanced use of technology

  • Collaborate with manager and across functional teams in evaluating training needs and effectiveness of strategies to create learning outcomes that are learner centric and standardized

  • Collaborates with leadership and provides guidance to cross functional teams to evaluate learning needs

  • Creates standardized learning strategies and tools to deliver learner centric content that aligns with the organizations need

  • Mentor learning content developers on the use and application of innovative design and evaluation practices related to instructional technologies

  • Create professional learning content using creative skills and innovative

What were looking for:


  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field and 7-10+ years related experience, or an equivalent combination of both education and experience.

Experience Needed:

  • Work independently and creatively collaborate with a fun team

  • Expertise in adult and accelerated learning

  • Experience in visual, graphic and interactive content design

  • Work independently (ambitious), and adapt work schedule as needed

  • Have excellent communication skills (verbal, written and listening), across all levels of the organization

  • Effectively analyze problems and reach solution in a timely manner

Computer Skills:

  • Expert computer skills in Microsoft Office

  • Expert in HTML, Adobe (Illustrator, Presenter, Captivate, Photoshop), and authoring software

  • Extensive Share Point experience

  • Expertise in CRM and LMS applications
