Job Description

The ideal candidate for our Human Resource Manager position will have experience supporting and partnering with a dispersed and dynamic sales organization. In this role, the HR Manager will provide human resources support to several areas of the organization across dispersed geographic areas, and will provide direction to HR Generalists and/or Specialists. The Manager supports the company’s business goals through the implementation of strategies that attract, develop and retain top performing employees.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience with implementing HR initiatives supporting a very robust sales organization, aligning strategy with established goals and objectives
  • The ability to influence and partner with managers on effective handling of employee relations issues, including input for performance management situations
  • Assisting leadership with performance reviews and goal creation process
  • Maintaining employee records as the need arises according to corporate policy and federal and state laws and maintains appropriate records in compliance with Affirmative Action goals
  • Managing and communicating appropriate HR metrics, analyzing trends and recommending action
  • Ensuring new hire onboarding is conducted consistently and efficiently within their core support groups
  • Administration of group benefit plans at the local level and provides assistance for problems that may exist between enrolled employees and the benefit program
  • Monitoring workers’ compensation claims, analyzing trends and identifying areas for improvement
  • Partnering with Talent Acquisition and the recruitment strategy through understanding the recruitment module, participating in local hiring events and conducting/tracking appropriate outreach for affirmative action compliance




The ideal candidate will have the following:

Education/Experience:

  • Three to five years of HR experience supporting a sales organization; a Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or an equivalent combination of both education and experience
  • Experience in employment/labor law, HR administration, interpersonal development, staffing, project management and budgeting is essential in addition the qualified applicant should have general understanding of benefits/compensation and safety legislation
  • Experience in the cable, or similar, industry is helpful
  • Must possess ability to establish credibility with all levels of employees, as well as ability to build and maintain professional client relationships
  • Must be highly organized, flexible, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting deadlines
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, with demonstrable track record of optimally presenting information on an individual basis and to groups of employees.
  • Must be able to creatively identify solutions for a wide variety of problems




Digital Literacy:

  • Requires detailed and solid understanding of Google Suite
