Job Description


Summary:


This position exists to provide generalist Human Resources support to designated WOW! functions and/or locations. Coordinates and implements Human Resources initiatives directly supporting business initiatives. This position works closely with relevant Human Resources team members in providing service to employees. Must be able to travel 40% of the year via both car and air.


Duties and Responsibilities:


Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:



  • Establishes strong relationships with business partners to ensure HR support is aligned with business priorities

  • Works closely with Talent Acquisition to ensure necessary coordination for employee onboarding

  • Completes new hire orientation for employees, ensuring appropriate understanding of all company policies and procedures

  • Provides counsel to management and education to employees on all company policies and procedures

  • Supports process improvement by researching best practices and making appropriate recommendations

  • Serves as the local contact for benefit related issues, utilizing appropriate resources to achieve timely resolution for the employee. Serves as the primary point of contact to employees for all questions/issues related to policies, benefits, pay, etc.

  • Provides guidance to the management team on the handling of all employee relations matters, involving HR management as necessary

  • Works closely with the HR team in proactively identifying and coordinating communication and activity supporting a positive work environment

  • Advises employees on leave and disability requests. Utilizes the outsourced system to track disability status and pay issues per corporate guidelines.

  • Supports all required compliance activity
