Job Description

The Director, Finance is responsible for the financial management of several areas within the Finance organization, focused around our Customers, and Products, including revenue management, expenses, capital and headcount   Areas of responsibility will include financial and operational reporting, financial and business case analysis, project management and budget and forecast development, implementation and tracking.

Duties & Responsibilities

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Revenue Management

    • Lead team responsible for the Budget, Forecast and Analysis of monthly revenue, including changes in subscriber and rates

    • Develop and prepare financial reports for Business Units, and Functional Leaders and assist in the preparation of presentations to Board of Directors and Senior Management Team

  • Customer Management

    • Lead financial support for the CMSO Organization (Chief Marketing & Sales Officer)

    • Enhance reporting to provide improved visibility to customer trends and provide insights to improve customer acquisition and retention efforts.

  • Products - Provide financial leadership and direction to the Marketing teams including:

    • Develop and update profitability models for product portfolio

      • Evaluate price changes

      • Analyze cost of goods sold (COGS) across product portfolio to find cost savings opportunities

    • Execute value-added analysis and decision support for key business projects and initiatives and strategies

      • Evaluate ROI for spend and revenue scenarios

  • Budget, forecast and analyze monthly expenses in support of CMSO

  • Develop and maintain new financial reports as needed

  • Work closely with remainder of FP&A team to assist in financial analysis and research for all revenue and expense issues

  • Strive to streamline and improve efficiency of all the above tasks and procedures

Education

•BS degree in Business, Finance or Accounting. 

Experience/Skills Needed:

•Minimum of 8-10 years of functionally-equivalent experience in industry

•Minimum 8-10 years leadership experience

•History of successfully leading teams and interfacing directly with senior management.

Computer Skills:

•Advanced level experience in Google Suite and Microsoft products, especially Excel and PowerPoint.   Experience in NetSuite and TM1 Reporting preferred.
