Job Description

Summary:

The Account Executive – Wholesale position is responsible for prospecting, growing and maintaining a base of Wholesale/Carrier accounts.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:

  • Develop, maintain and close all incremental sales with strategic products for assigned customers
  • Lead and orchestrate WOW! resources and personnel in support of the customer relationship
  • Prospect, develop, negotiate with, and close sales with new and existing customers
  • Present professionally to and engage with C-Level Executives
  • Manage a sales module up to fifty customers
  • Meet or exceed the assigned monthly sales quota
  • Other duties as assigned

-Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required

-Experience/Skills Needed:

  • 3-5 year’s experience in the Wholesale Telecommunications Industry required
  • Working knowledge of the cable industry preferred
  • Working knowledge of financial measurements such as IRR, NPV, Fixed Cost, and Variable Cost preferred
  • Ability to develop relationships with new and existing key customers
  • Thorough understanding of the business and economic models associated with Wholesale Customers
  • Possess an intuitive understanding of the telecommunication business from a technical, economic, and regulatory standpoint
  • Must be self-motivated, with excellent time management, organizational skills and complex problem solving
  • Must have excellent oral, written, and proven presentation skills

-Computer Skills:

  • High level of competency with technologies such as IP, Ethernet, Ethernet Private Line, DWDM, voice and dark fiber leases
  • Understand and work effectively with Google GSuite preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce.com is a plus
