The Sr. Dir, Business Operations-Market Expansion is responsible for supporting new build opportunities consisting of green field, edge-out, fill in, joint trench, and MDU properties. The Sr. Dir, Business Operations role has responsibility for capital, expense and market expansion passings forecasts, actuals reporting and budgeting.

Salary: $180,000- $225,000/year

What you’ll be doing:
Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:
Support of new build expansion efforts consisting of matters such as opportunity identification, financial forecasting and budgeting, and collaboratively driving customer growth results
Collaboratively work with sales and marketing teams to achieve customer addition goals.
Responsible for the execution of new pole attachment and right-of-way agreements.
Provides financial oversight in the selection and execution of new build edge-out projects
Provides financial oversight of accounts payable, inventory purchases, tracking, inventory levels and controls and purchase order approvals across the market expansion group.
Serve as the conduit for business and financial related communications between corporate and the market expansion group
Ensures adherence to accounting policies and procedures at local levels (cash controls, accounts payable, year-end accruals, etc.)
Works collaboratively with corporate finance and accounting on forecasting, budgets and reporting.
Oversight of MDU program consisting of day-to-day sales activity management, funnel activity, territory management, and customer focus sales efforts.
Oversee and audit payments for Revenue Share monthly
Responsible for ROE agreements and Consent/Riser Agreements in support of expanding our network into Residential and Commercial properties.
Provides leadership and direction to staff, including but not limited to hiring, disciplining, motivating and assessing management performance
Special projects and other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university; and 10 to 12 years directly related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience/Skills Needed:
7 years professional experience in process improvement
7 years previous leadership experience
7 years’ experience with cable, telecommunications or related industry
Robust analytical skills and ability to recommend appropriate solutions/direction, including the ability to develop business cases and other financial modeling
Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to develop, lead and implement highly complex business operations initiatives across multiple organizations
Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, highly collaborative environment where flexibility and teamwork are essential
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in problem solving and business process development and implementation
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
Ability to define problems, collect data, analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
Ability to handle confidential material and information; individual must be organized, able to multi-task under pressure
Computer Skills:
Google suite knowledge, accounting software, general ledger, accounts receivable software, accounts payable software, Internet software, e-mail, order processing, inventory and database software.
