Job Description

VP -- Residential Sales


 


The Vice President, Residential Sales will be responsible for sales of WOW's product and services through the inbound, outbound, e-commerce and direct sales teams and will also have responsibility for sales from WOW's business partners. The VP -- Residential Sales is responsible for the development and execution of the company's consumer sales strategy in all WOW markets.



Duties and Responsibilities:



Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:




  • Develop comprehensive strategic sales plans to drive sales, grow revenue and maximize product penetration including territory and staffing analysis, market prioritization and sales plan execution

  • Build a winning sales culture based on accountability, competitive intelligence and sales excellence

  • Develop a strong leadership team responsible for driving sales in call center and field based sales environments

  • Partners with HR, Talent Acquisition and Training to develop and execute sales talent recruiting and retention initiatives, building a best-in-class sales organization

  • Identify sales activity KPIs and develop a rigorous sales forecasting environment focused on conversion/close rates and improved ARPU per sale

  • In partnership with marketing, develop and execute the strategy in support of revenue retention and growth, product penetration and satisfaction of WOW's existing customers (oversee the retention team)

  • Create and implement incentive programs in support of sales and product goals and in alignment with established company process for evaluation and execution

  • Participate in the development of annual sales force planning and budget objectives

  • Leads the development of sale process in collaboration with related operational departments and in support of optimized close/win rates

  • In conjunction with marketing and product teams develop competitive pricing, packaging and go-to-market strategy for accelerated market share and revenue growth and retention

Education:




  • Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university (preferably in a relevant business related field) required

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred



Experience/Skills Needed




  • 10 years related sales experience,

  • 10 years leadership experience, sales leadership preferred

  • Proven ability to effectively lead sales teams, incorporating a best in class sales culture

  • Proven ability to develop/implement world class sales strategies

  • Robust analytical skills and ability to recommend appropriate solutions/direction, including ability to develop business cases and other financial modeling

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with exceptional ability to present complex information to a varied audience

  • Demonstrated ability to leverage both internal and external resources

  • Superior organizational skills with demonstrated ability to effectively handle multiple priorities and tasks



Computer Skills:




  • Excellent computer skills including MS Office
