Job Description

The Sr. Director of Enterprise Architecture leads the Enterprise Architecture team to effectively drive the execution of projects across the enterprise.  This role builds strong partnerships with Business and Finance to drive WOW’s technical strategy in harmony with the business strategy. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:

  • Lead, manage, and mentor senior technology resources within the Technology organization
  • Enable WOW!’s next phase of growth through leading adherence to consistent delivery methodologies that move the Enterprise towards a more technically consistent, predictable, and reliable platform
  • Assist in defining, ratifying, and managing projects within agreed upon timelines, financial targets, and quality levels
  • Define, curate, review, and enforce adherence to formal artifacts and processes within the Solution Delivery and Business Operations domains
  • Responsible for departmental budget including planning, preparation and forecasting
  • Monitors adjusts enterprise processes, standards, and tools to ensure predictable results are achieved and ensures adherence to and continual improvement of consistent, reliable, and predictable delivery methodologies through all phases of delivery lifecycles.
  • Supervise, determine work method, plan work operations, interviews and selects employees, disciplines employees, evaluates employee performance, provides indirect supervision/functional guidance and hires and fires employees
  • Other duties as assigned

BA or equivalent work experience

-Experience/Skills Needed:

  • 8-10 years’ relevant experience in Telecom or an advance technology industry
  • 8-10 years management experience
  • Fluent in Telecommunication business, operational, and engineering processes
  • Strong project management skills
  • Able to effectively communicate with peers, superiors and subordinates through written and verbal methods
  • Basic knowledge of business process re-engineering and information principles and processes
  • Basic knowledge of financial models and budgeting

-Computer Skills:

  • G Suite experience preferred
