What you will be doing:


  • Work closely with Bas, SMEs, project managers and process owners to capture business requirements

  • Translate business needs and technical specifications to execute the development of new and current ServiceNow capabilities

  • Administer, develop, and support the ServiceNow platform (i.e. Incident, Request, Change, HR, Reporting, CMDB, etc.)

  • Perform analysis and make recommendations in areas that require a high level of technical competency

  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to all modules of the ServiceNow Suite of Applications

  • Create, design, and implement new forms using workflows

  • Assist in developing user documentation and departmental policies and procedures that impact the use of ServiceNow

  • Provide day-to-day operation of the ServiceNow system to ensure the system is meeting organizational needs and develop any required enhancements

  • Develop and enhance existing modules

  • Some travel required

  • Other duties as assigned



What we're looking for:


Education:


  • A two-year degree in IT, computer science, or a business related field preferred, or equivalent experience



Experience/Skills Needed:


  • 3-5 years relevant experience in ServiceNow

  • Strong customer service skills required

  • Experience working with API(s) and custom scripting

  • Self-directed when necessary and able to set priorities within a given workload to meet project timelines

  • Strong organization skills are required, with demonstrated ability to effectively handle multiple priorities and tasks

  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required to establish effective working relationships

  • Must be able to effectively communicate through a number of channels with all levels of employees, sometimes conveying technical information to non-technical employees

  • Understanding of and experience with agile software development methodologies (e.g. Scrum)



Computer Skills:


  • Certifications in the following are strongly preferred: ITIL, Scrum, ServiceNow
