The Network Implementation Engineer III is responsible for assisting with Engineering design review and Lab integration testing of the WOW! Network Infrastructure. The Network Implementation Engineer III will utilize various tools, testing and documentation methodologies to support Engineering design in the testing and development of solutions to complex problems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:
Perform detailed review of engineering design and provide feedback for improvement or recommendation for acceptance of design handoff.
Provides peer review and oversight on Method of Procedure (MOP).
Maintain build book of infrastructure and services being delivered across the WOW! Network.
Execute handoff plan and knowledge transfer to Implementation and Assurance Teams.
Monitor and manage scheduled maintenance work.
Prepare work package Documentation.
Create system support documentation including instructional procedures, provisioning guidelines, test plans, problem documentation and functional process flows.
Participate in research pertaining to development of network systems and management tools.
Effectively trains work group and leads work teams within the work group.
Delivers presentations and writes proposals and reports for critical/high level teams and effectively represent work groups on review panels and cross-organization teams.
Responsible for planning multiple simultaneous projects of high complexity including making estimates, tracking progress and completing projects on time and within budget.
Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on multiple platforms and systems under specialty and with a detailed understanding of how multiple systems interact.
Leads and provides guidance to technical staff and Network Implementation Engineer I and II.
Other duties as assigned.

Education:
BS required or equivalent work experience
Experience/Skills Needed:
8-10 years of related work experience required
Telecommunications industry preferred
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Ability to develop innovative solutions to unique problems.
Ability to create as-built documentation
Must be proficient with industry standard test equipment
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to collaborate effectively with and provide guidance to peers and junior level engineers
Understands and applies advanced concepts and techniques of the technology.
