Job Description

The Manager, Business Intelligence will be responsible for providing intelligence & insights to help leadership optimize both top line sales and save/retention strategies to drive net subscriber gains for WOW! by identifying sales channel and retention opportunities for optimization and recommending strategies for execution with Leadership.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:

  • Develop and lead the design and maintenance of Business Intelligence data/processes for the organization, including but not limited to Sales, Marketing and Product KPIs along with other revenue impacting metrics in Field Operations, Care and Base Management

  • Lead strategic direction of the team and allocation of resources related to generating the highest levels of Business Intelligence across sales, marketing, and retention.  Work with IT on prioritization of reporting/data requests

  • Manage the team to drive and optimize top line sales performance resulting in incrementally more sales and connects across all channels through daily, weekly and monthly reporting to Senior Leadership

  • Analyze, interpret, recommend and present strategic actionable insights across the business

  • Build forecast and track performance for weekly residential sales call

  • Lead daily/weekly meetings with all sales channels to discuss performance, headcount, sales optimization, KPIs and opportunities to drive operational excellence across the business

  • Partner with IT team to build and maintain core dashboards across the CMSO organization

  • Build analysis and presentations and provide Board of Directors, Executive Leadership team, and shareholders with information to make strategic and tactical decisions related to operations, capabilities and strategic roadmap

  • Budget responsibilities including planning and preparation, forecasting, maintaining and monitoring, and expense management

  • Develop ad hoc reports of the business as requested by Executive Leadership team and Board of Directors

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

-Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance

-Experience/Skills Needed:

  • 5-7 years experience; financial planning & analysis, or reporting role

  • 1-3 years of management experience preferred

  • Experience in the telecommunications industry a plus

  • Must possess excellent communications skills, and sound decision-making skills

  • Advanced analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Understanding of key performance indicators for telecommunications industry a plus

  • Requires a broad knowledge of corporate operations and policies

  • Must possess a high level of experience, discretion and technical skill

  • Must be able to handle confidential matters in a professional manner

  • Requires latitude for independent judgment and initiative

  • Must be organized and able to work independently

-Computer Skills:

  • Advanced level experience in Google Suite

  • Proficient in all Microsoft products, especially Excel and PowerPoint, Altrix, SQL

The minimum base pay salary for this position is $127,500. Salary may be negotiable based on experience. The minimum salary does not include any other pay elements in which this position may be eligible.
