Job Description

The Director, Digital Products & User Experience is responsible for driving revenue, ARPU, key digital conversion rates, and overall website and e-Commerce performance through sound strategy, tactical execution, measurement, and continuous optimization. They are responsible for delivering personalized, and compelling customer experiences for WOW!’s customer websites.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for leading, inspiring, managing and implementing end-to-end digital strategy and execution for WOW!’s residential marketing and sales websites
  • Own the performance, reporting, and communication of core site KPI’s and ensuring that WOW!’s digital sales are tracking towards monthly goals
  • Manage vendor relationships and budget relating to WOW!’s residential sales websites
  • Understand and internalize executive priorities and effectively communicate them to project stakeholders and team members
  • Lead team of product managers, content/SEO coordinators, and vendors to identify, design, deliver and enhance WOW!’s websites
  • Manage the user experience with an eye towards conversion, branding, customer focus, and revenue generation
  • Implement new methods, strategies or vendors that enhance WOW!’s ability to grow the digital sales channel
  • Responsible for owning WOW!’s A/B testing and experimentation program, optimizing conversion rates and KPI’s
  • Identify pain points and opportunities through data and analytics, user testing and other methods. Translate user needs into product improvement strategies through A/B testing
  • Play a key role in high-level SEO strategy and execution for sites that rely on organic traffic
  • Prioritize all projects and resources to maximize business value
  • Serve as a key point of contact and escalation path for all site functions, representing the product management role across the organization
  • Complete continuous market research to identify emerging web technologies and capabilities. Evaluate opportunities and lead the promotion, communication, and adoption of new ideas
  • Consistently track and publishes KPIs to measure performance
  • Assists with allocating and managing the annual Digital Transformation team budget
  • Ensures high-quality experiences for all consumers on all types of devices including desktops, tablets, and phones
  • Leads initiatives from start to finish—ideation, design, implementation, rollout, and optimization
  • Develops and maintains strong and effective cross-functional partnerships with marketing, sales, project management, development,  product, and CARE teams to drive high performance and deliver exceptional business results
  • Manage ambiguity and collaborate broadly with cross-functional teams.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Marketing or related study from four-year College or University; and 10 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience/Skills Needed:

  • 10 years of experience in a corporate marketing or agency environment
  • 10 years of leadership experience managing online marketing function
  • Experience in e-commerce data and analytics required
  • Management experience required
  • Experience in agile software development methodologies and best practices such as Scrum, XP, and Kanban preferred
  • Experience working with JIRA preferred
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and cross-functional skills
  • Agency and/or client-side experience managing deadline-dependent digital projects
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with others in a cross-functional and collaborative environment
  • Must be able to work under pressure, along with demonstrating solid time management skills and demonstrate a winning attitude

The minimum base pay salary for this position is $97,500. Salary may be negotiable based on experience. The minimum salary does not include any other pay elements in which this position may be eligible.
