Job Description

Summary:

The Digital Web Content Coordinator will be responsible for updating content across the organization's residential and commercial website platforms and working internally and with agencies to ensure the content production and delivery is up to company standards. This position is responsible for producing optimized content and ensuring usability and accuracy for the company website, utilizing the company's Content Management System.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:

  • Build and handle online content, perform updates and identify flaws for multiple websites while utilizing existing templates within the Content Management System (CMS)
  • Upload, schedule, and handle deadlines of web content changes including pricing and product updates
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies in support of marketing and product team objectives
  • Assist with tasks and logistics for digital content team's deadlines
  • Work with external agencies by providing assets and monitoring execution/finished product
  • Proof all creative content to ensure accuracy and partner with key internal stakeholders (Legal, Product, Marketing, etc.) for review and approval
  • Responsible for activities related to website content development and management including content entry through the Content Management System (CMS), partnering with development teams to ensure timely and accurate updates, and communication to teams regarding updates and outstanding items
  • Execute changes to existing SEO campaigns including updates to on-page copy, metadata improvements, image optimizations, and more, as directed by the content manager
  • Work alongside the content manager to prioritize the content and SEO strategy
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve content management tools, workflows, and processes
  • Assist with regular content audits, gap analyses, and social listening reviews to identify areas of opportunity and inform content creation
  • Monitor digital trends and new technologies and identify ways to improve and optimize digital properties
  • Perform QA and/or UAT for CMS and content-related development tasks, as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business or a related equivalent experience preferred.

Experience/Skills Needed:

  • 1-2 years of relevant professional work experience required
  • Prior work experience with heavy digital focus is preferred
  • Familiarity with web management content systems, Sitefinity and Drupal preferred or working knowledge of WordPress or similar platforms
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices
  • Experience with eCommerce and website standard methodologies, including information architecture/navigation, content formatting, cross-linking, metadata, and tagging
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work without direct supervision
  • Able to communicate and work enthusiastically with internal and external customers
  • Understanding of design and UX methodologies
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Exhibits a problem-solving mentality
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly reciprocal environment where flexibility and collaboration are needed
