Job Description

The Channel Sales Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, creating, and executing strategic programs and initiatives in support of revenue and customer growth by developing effective relationships with WOW’s Master Agents.  The Channel Sales Business Development Manager supports the achievement of WOW’s indirect partner objectives by assisting the operational needs of the program.  In addition, this position will pursue business development initiatives including recruiting and onboarding new partners, development and supporting quarterly business reviews and partnering with marketing and product in support of targeted sales campaigns and initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop relationships with Master Agents and ensure that all portals are updated with marketing collateral, spiff’s, contact information and escalation procedures
  • Provide support to Master Agents regarding program questions, partner portal access, sales and marketing requests, and program details
  • Track all pertinent Master Agent KPI’s on a daily and monthly basis and ensure Agents are appropriately reporting in Salesforce
  • Assist with partner recruitment and onboarding activities
  • Support and manage the partner quarterly business reviews and planning, assist in developing agreed upon performance objectives and sales goals in support of productive partner relationships including the development of presentation review materials, dashboards, and tracking of follow up action items
  • Analyze sales data to aid the organization in forecasting and planning efforts and identify areas of opportunity
  • Identify and involve key WOW! colleagues in service delivery, field operations, care, and management to optimize order to cash process and meet partner performance expectations
  • Partner with marketing to identify topics for partner communication efforts and creating and editing written content
  • Support partner shows and events, attend and represent WOW!
  • Work with the Business Intelligence team on sales performance dashboards including identified KPIs.  Work to optimize reports for insight, action and sales forecasting
  • Assist in driving awareness and adoption of company programs among Master Agents
  • Lead solution development efforts that best address end-user needs while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company and partner personnel
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing or equivalent experience

Experience/Skills Needed:

  • 4+ years’ experience in sales operations, preferably within a professional or technology/telecom services environment
  • Existing relationships with Master Agents
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong, positive internal and external relationships while achieving performance metrics
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritizes projects and time effectively
  • Ability to manage workflow to meet/maintain goals
  • Must be a team player, able to handle ambiguity, anticipate, and react to changes quickly in a fast-paced environment

Computer Skills:
